About
I’m a Ukrainian artist from Kharkiv, now living and working in Sydney, Australia. My artistic practice blends the traditions of Ukrainian avant-garde with contemporary elements, creating a visual dialogue rooted in my cultural heritage.
Before moving to Australia in 2022 due to the war, I worked in my own studio in Kharkiv - creating, teaching painting and drawing to children, and participating in exhibitions. Since 2011, I’ve shown my work in Ukraine, Europe, and Asia, with series including cityscapes, portraits, still lifes, and bird-themed compositions. In 2023, I exhibited at the Ukrainian Museum of Australia.
My style is based on geometric rhythms, lines, and colour relationships - a balance of structure and emotion. With a background in psychology, I explore inner states through visual forms, inviting viewers into quiet reflection and personal connection.
Art, for me, is a constant journey of experimentation and discovery - a way to express, connect, and explore different genres with honesty and depth.
